Motherboard was performed at the Paper Box December 2019.
Its custom electronics consist of fabric sensors embedded in the costume, an fm radio broadcasting local radio sounds, and a radio transmitter and receiver that controls playback speed of standard dual-tone multi-frequencies standard in domestic American telephones, and recordings of messages written by the artist’s mother and grandmother.
